Over the next month the Broadwater Parklands is hosting the 'Gold Coast Festival of Lights'. This event showcases hundreds of large scale light installations that glow brightly against the black night sky. Over 21 Chinese artisans worked over 6,522 hours to create the 532 lanterns that are powered by over 20,000 light globes!
In addition to the light installations there is also a program of Chinese entertainment on the main stage, market stalls selling traditional handcrafts and food and beverage vans for your convenience.
