Pacific Fair renovation update

by | Jun 26, 2015

As you may be aware, the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in nearby Broadbeach is undergoing a massive $670 million dollar facelift. It's business as usual at the mall, as sections at a time are closed off for renovation. Late last year the north-east corner was reopened, the new wing housing Target, Giant Chemist, JB Hi-Fi and a selection of smaller retailers and cafes.

Yesterday Pacific Fair unveiled yet another section of the new mall, the south-west section, which is home to a large Coles supermarket (with in-house bakery and cafe), plus an 800 space underground carpark and several other retailers. In August they plan to also open the new Woolworths and a few other stores including a City Beach in this section.

We will keep you updated as new developments are announced. To get to Pacific Fair 'Ride the G' Gold Coast Light Rail from Surfers Paradise, just a few stops to the Broadbeach South station, where you will disembark right outside the shopping centre.
